Where do I begin? Lots happened during our two week vacation in Ohio. Admittedly, the first week was crazier as it was the official family reunion. Everyone was there. All 35 of us! We kept busy:
Monday:
A trip to the Perrysburg pool to cool off from the terrible Summer heat
Mom went to town with an incredible FHE lesson focused for the 12 youngest grandkids
Tuesday:
Imagination Station with all the grand kiddos
Tony Packo's directly afterward-- because you can't skip that treat when you're 4 blocks away!
40th anniversary celebration-- we went to the Detroit Temple and had a lovely time
Wednesday:
Playing water games in the backyard
90th birthday celebration from Grandma Kriechbaum
Thursday:
Maumee Bay/Lake Erie fun-- the boys went out and had a hot morning of golf
Friday:
More water games in the backyard
Family photo shoot-- can you say grumpy grandkids??
Satruday:
The boys went shooting
Dinner at Fritz's-- He's a grill master! We topped it off with homemade burnt almond fudge ice cream for dessert
Sunday:
Church & family dinner
Euchre Tournament-- The lovebirds won, way to go Mom & Dad!
Last "real" day of the reunion
Monday:
A very rainy day at Cedar Point-- but the lines were still enormous. Boo!
Squeeeeezing into my wedding dress 2 years and 1 baby later.
Tuesday:
Mr. Freeze... maybe for the 3rd time?
Wednesday:
A trip to the Toledo Zoo
Zingo's for Lunch-- GYROS!
Tekela for Dinner-- quite the wait...
Thursday:
Morning at the park with Rach, Becca & children
Crocheting with my sisters-- I'm working on a blanket!
Friday:
Homeward bound! Boy, am I grateful for airplanes.
Can't wait for Griffioen Family Reunion 2016!
